Our team was thinking what could we do for our tenants or even property investors or landowners to make their room rental or property purchase decision easier and we came to this really great idea to cover different locations in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor areas for starters so people can see what they would get in each of these areas they decide to occupy, so that’s why we will start with one of the more popular areas in the Klang Valley called Subang Jaya.
Last year it became even easier to reach Subang using Public transport as the extended LRT Kelana Jaya line got opened so no need to use the car or a slow KTM line to subang Jaya station in order to reach this area. There is also an Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport available for all the local flights which is very convenient for all the travelers to head to instead of going miles away to KLIA airport. Subang is known for accomodating many students as there are plenty of universities located nearby such as Taylors, Sunway and Monash. If you are a student renting a room in Subang, you might find exactly what you need in this post. Just keep reading…
Subang is also a home to one of the most popular malls in the KL and Selangor area, Sunway pyramid, recognisable by its fierce looking sphinx overlooking the Lebuhraya highway and a Sunway Lagoon theme park popular by it’s water park that you have to visit! But make sure you dedicate at least half of the day for it because there is a lot to see and experience there.
Other malls worth visiting in the area are definitely Subang Parade Shopping Centre and Empire Shopping Gallery both very close to the Subang Jaya KTM and LRT station. Empire Shopping gallery is nice place to move if you are looking for less people yet good set of services and places to go for a coffe, lunch, leisure or shopping.
When it comes to F&B there are so many options you could choose from in Subang. To name just some of them, if you are preferring a cool cafe for hangout or reading your favourite books we would definitely recommend Donutes and Coffea coffee both right next to the SS15 LRT train station. If you get hungry and don’t know what to eat, one thing is for sure, in Subang you won’t starve. If you crave for some fast food, Burgetory is the thing for you. For japanese options Jyu Raku is the place to go and in case you are a vegetarian, Nature’s vegetarian Restaurant is where you want to go. Foodcourts are all over the place so we won’t even mention any further options. Just drop by the hood and see what’s good!
Next week we will choose another area to cover so make sure you follow us. Untill then take care fellow roomies!
