Roomz.asia knows for a fact from all the interactions we have with a lot of the landlord who use our site to rent rooms in KL area, that most of them find themselves in the situation where they need to find out a lot of information about their tenants in a short time. How do you do that efficiently?? Let’s see…

Of course, tenants need to make their own decision regarding which place to rent but the landowners are the ones that also have to make a decision on whether to accept a tenant or not, based on their appearance and the information tenants share about themselves. There is no doubt that tenants can sometimes be like devils in disguise, at first they’re all nice, smiley and charming until they surprise you with their sudden snake pets, messy lifestyle, or illegal activities within YOUR apartment… How rude…

We already talked about what do if you don’t get along with your tenant but in order to avoid that potential disaster you need to have the right approach from the start. Know the questions to ask your tenants. This is an issue most of the landlords are facing on a regular basis. They don’t know how to evaluate their tenant properly. Not everybody is born to be an excellent judge of character and we can’t expect from everybody to know how to do a proper psychoanalysis of an individual but no need to worry about it because there is a much simpler way to see if you would want to have someone as a tenant or not.

In the video below, ms. Julie Broad, a recognized real estate investor, an international book award winner, entrepreneur and a workshop trainer tells us what are the ways you can easily evaluate your tenants just by asking them 5 simple questions.

Do you have any interesting questions of your own that help you evaluate your own tenants? Please do let us know and we might feature it in the one of the upcoming posts.
