In an effort to go paperless and being more environmentally-friendly, Indah Water Konsortium Sdn Bhd (IWK) has decided that they will charge RM2 for printed bills. In order to avoid that RM2 of charge, customers can pay their bill through their e-Bill service starting from June 2020.
Customers are reassured to use this service as it is a lot easier and convenient to keep track of their bill. Also, when they decide to go paperless, customers can immediately receive the notification of their new bill from the app, and they can access it wherever they are at as long as they are connected to the internet.
IWK has chosen to go paperless and charging RM2 for the printed bill is because of the increasing postage cost. IWK has a mobile app that they launched back in December 2018 where customers can pay their bill and can check their balance conveniently through the app. Since their e-Bill service was introduced in June 2018, they already have 200,000 registration up till now.
